Minor Inclination

Bow the head at the neck, while keeping the back and shoulders upright.

Use:

  • After handing or receiving something from a minister.
  • In the [[Dominican Rite]], before handing or receiving something from a minister.
  • After incensing a minister.
  • While kneeling after incensing the Eucharist when exposed, as in Mass at the elevations or during Benediction.
  • Any time a different Reverence would otherwise be made, when the Server is holding the Processional Crucifix or flanking it with a Processional Candle.
